Business North West Gets infoUK Backing to Bring New Business to the North West Region

infoUK, (an infoGROUP company, NASDAQ: IUSA) the Manchester-based business data company, is backing the North West region’s largest ever business networking event in a bid to bring new business to the region.

Aimed at stimulating increased trade amongst North West businesses, the infoUK-sponsored business networking evening is taking place on the opening night of Business North West on Wednesday 28th October from 5.30-7.00pm.

It is the second year running that infoUK has sponsored the networking event at Business North West – one of the UK’s most successful business-to-business (B2B) exhibitions.

Andy Taylor, head of sales and marketing at infoUK, said: “With more than 5,500 small businesses expected to descend on Manchester for the two-day exhibition, the networking evening presents a fantastic opportunity for businesses to get out there and market themselves.

“We’re seeing a definite upturn in marketing confidence amongst small businesses in the region. The fact that so many small businesses have already booked to attend is great news for the region as it’s businesses that continue to invest in marketing that are more likely to win new business and show greater levels of growth – all much needed in the North West region.”

With e-mail marketing credited as one of the most cost effective ways in which small businesses can secure new business, Business North West is also providing the platform for infoUK to launch its new B2B e-mail marketing campaign service for small businesses.

To celebrate the launch, two lucky winners at Business North West will have all their B2B e-mail marketing campaign needs taken care of with infoUK:

•    Using its extensive B2B e-mail marketing data to build each Business North West winner a bespoke e-mail marketing list
•    Creating, designing and issuing a B2B e-mail marketing campaign on behalf of each small business winner to target up to 10,000 business decision makers
•    Tracking and presenting the results of the B2B e-mail marketing campaigns back to each winner.

To take part in the competition, or to see infoUK’s new B2B e-mail marketing campaign service for small businesses in action, visit Business North West at Manchester Central from the 28-29 October 2009.

The infoUK-sponsored Network Café will be open throughout the two-day business-to-business exhibition, and the networking evening takes place on Wednesday 28th October from 5.30-7.00pm.
